RenewalMatrix is informational software, not legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. It scores the answers you provide about your own signup and cancellation flow against a fixed set of statutes we have summarized (California Bus. & Prof. Code Sec. 17602 as amended by AB 2863, Colorado SB25-145, Vermont 9 V.S.A. Sec. 2454a, Oregon ORS 646A.295, and general FTC Act Section 5 / ROSCA guidance), current as of the date noted on the report. Laws change, our summaries can become outdated, and every jurisdiction not listed is not evaluated. A "compliant" result means the specific facts you provided did not trigger a flag under our summary of that statute — it is not a certification of legal compliance, and you should confirm anything material with your own counsel.
The report is generated from the answers you submit; we do not independently verify them by visiting your website or product. Garbage in, garbage out — an inaccurate answer produces an inaccurate result.
The $49 charge is one-time, billed via Stripe, for a single report. It is non-refundable once the report has been generated, since the report itself is the deliverable. If payment succeeded but no report was generated due to a fault on our end, contact us with your session ID for a refund.
The service is provided as-is with no warranty. We are not liable for decisions made based on its output.
